About Doubting Tomas and Secret Rachel

How it happened

Once upon a time, in a studio far from fame, a guitarist and songwriter crossed paths with this singer. They were sittin’ there, talkin’ about how the burger they just grabbed was seriously missin’ some damn chili peppers, when it hit them—why not check out each other’s stuff? So they did, and after listenin’ to the tracks, an idea sparked: maybe they could throw down on somethin’ together.

Rachel gave the track Shadows in My Mind a listen, and straight-up roasted Tomáš for his vocals. She wasn’t about to let that mess hit the streets, so she stepped up and laid her own vocals down instead.

When she sang, though? Man, both of ‚em were caught off guard by how fire it sounded. They knew they had somethin‘. So they kept meetin’ up at the studio, crankin‘ out more tracks—twelve of ‘em in total, all a little different but still vibin‘ together under the name of that first song.

To make it even better, they brought in Gabriela and Ray on a couple of the tracks, just to mix it up.

How did it all turn out? Well, that’s for you to decide.
